Early Introduction to Sport helps Children form a Healthy Habit.

As parents we have the responsibility of encouraging our children to make exercise a part of a healthy lifestyle.
Here’s some of things parents and carers do to help achieve this:
- Set an example – be active yourself and demonstrate will-power and resilience. There are so many ways we can be active from walking to roller skating to skateboarding to badminton. A study suggests that young kids whose mums and dads are active tend to be active themselves. Share your sporting or active passion with your children and share your continued commitment to it.
- Transform your home into a healthy encouraging environment. Introduce one day a week or a certain time every day which is wi-fi free. Set an example and switch your tech off too! Children will soon find something else to do and hopefully you will too.
- Fitness is fun! Introduce your kids to a variety of sports to help them find one they really enjoy. If children are having fun and achieving, studies show they will stick at it longer. There is a sport for everyone, we just need to help our children find it and expose them to lots of different ways to play sport or keep active. Sometimes parents and children don't share the same dreams, be open minded, children can surprise you!
- Get outside! Enjoy the great outdoors, it’s free, it’s beautiful and the landscape changes with every season. Find a lake to skim stones, a wood to build a den, a hill to roll down or a mud pile to run up. Walking in the great outdoors is one of the easiest, cheapest and healthiest ways to enjoy low intensity exercise. Try and walk for a good 35 to 40 minutes to make it really count.
Kiddikicks is proud to operate kids football in a variety of beautiful parks and open spaces in London including Regents Park, Hyde Park, London Fields, Victoria Park and Queens Park. Our #kidsfootball outdoor season runs from April to the end of October and our indoor season for younger children aged from 18 months runs from November to March. Always check your confirmation email received after booking to confirm indoor-outdoor details for your class and venue. We look forward to being on the ball with your young player very soon.
