We’ve been researching some brilliant activities to do with your children over the festive period in and around London and West London in collaboration with City Kids. Here’s our favourite 5!
- Pop Up Nutcracker at the V&A from December 27th. Meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Mouse King and dance your way through the beautiful museum as if you were Clara or Fritz.
- Find Father Christmas at Ham House; find being the operative word! Follow a trail through the beautiful gardens and discover Father Christmas in his grotto at the end. Only 3.50 and no booking required. Hurruh!
- One for the very brave and active! Christmas Day Swim at Hampton Pool. The swim includes a mince pie and some mulled wine for those old enough!
- See The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre in Portugal Street, Holborn area. This is a charming and heart-warming performance with moving music and no words so perfect for our youngest theatre goers.
- The Sooty Show at Richmond Theatre on January 25th. There are 2 performances which are sure to be oodles of fun for little ones from 3 years old upwards and a blast from the past for most parents too!
If you’d like another brilliant weekly activity for your toddler in the New Year, take a look at your local Kiddikicks for great classes for children from 18 months up to 7 years.
