how it all started
After England’s failed attempt in 2006 to hold the hallowed world cup aloft the founders of Kiddikicks felt there was something they could do to improve the grass roots game from seedling level. This idea, coupled with the founders’ birth of their own small energetic children, catapulted Kiddikicks into reality.
An age specific programme designed for children from 18 months was developed with the main aims of nurturing talent and developing a love of the beautiful game. The founders knowledge base came from their respective personal expertise in sport and dance. Both studied their subject to the highest standard, performing professionally in their fields.
Based on this experience they whole heartedly agree the aim of Kiddikicks is to help create a love of performing actively through football since talent is nothing without love. Taking this as their starting point they developed the Kiddikicks Pre-school Football Programme, which engages and entertains this age group whilst fostering real football skills.
They have since developed the Kiddikicks School Football Programme, the Ligasoccer Programme for Under 8's and Kiddisports a multi-sport programme including cricket, rugby, hockey and bat and ball skills. They will be adding their personal touch to brand new activities: kiddiskate, kiddiballet, kiddidisco and much much more, getting all children off the couch and into sport.
